Has anyone used homeplug technology in Thailand?

I am curious and wonder if power spikes and the not so reliable power we have in thailand would be an issue.

I thought it uses the earth connection ...(3 pins ) thailand only got 2 pins like most asian countries.........

Actually at the office and my home, there are a mixture of both. I guess its the older places that don't have them.

I dont think homeplug uses earth .. ive got zxel pl-100 and its a two pin plug into the unit ..
