UPDATE

I note from the views of my previous posting that (see below) there seems to be some confusion and I want to put things straight.

The Car belonged to me and was not hired. Signs in Pattaya there are in plenty but not a one mentions Flooding

The bill to date for fixing has now risen to 13000bht

You are Warned

Sorry to hear about your misadventure.

Nature has a funny way of catching people off guard and there was an occasion a few years ago with a sunami..

Was it just a one of thing or is Soi bukhao always flooded in the wet season?

Thailand Airsoft The website is for sale. I am starting up a new Bitcoin project and need development funds... The Airsoft Site is being sold for 800,000 THB

sounds pretty cheap to fix to me.....

I'd suggest fixing it and then getting rid of it....

most of the electrics will be prone to corrosion and over time will all need replacing the gearbox, lower end, and most other mechaical parts will need replacing early...

Yes it is pretty bad when we have big rain but this was the worst I have seen it. The problem is that everything seems to come that way on its way down to the beach. In Soi Diana the water at one point was over 4ft deep. The drains were just never designed to take all that water and to make things worse street vendors and the like put everything down the drains which blocks them up
