Which network to choose?

Hey everyone,

 

I've heard that in Pattaya DTAC and 12call(AIS) both have great reception but up north for example AIS is better.

I'll be flying to Pattaya in a few days and then to some islands (Samui, Koh Phangan, Koh Tao).

 

Does one of these networks have better reception in these islands or are they both the same?

Hard to say. 12 call use to be the best but Dtac has caught up. It's cheap enough to try both. You can buy the Sim cards for 59 baht or so. If you call outside Thailand i just got the True intersim and it is clear and pretty cheap.
