Buying Photoshop In Thailand

Has anyone ever purchased Adobe Photoshop (the full program not PS Elements) at Pantip Plaza in Bangkok? Since I'm not overly eager to spend the $700-$800 dollars for the legal version I was wondering if anyone has any experience in purchasing software in Thailand. Has the software you purchased been functional and reliable and how much did you spend? Thanks in advance for any replies.

You won't pay much - I paid about 150 Baht for CS3 last year in Tukcom. What you will get is a CD with the free trial download and a keygen program to generate a serial number. It seems to work...but don't go registering it. I have heard rumours that Adobe have strengthened security on the latest release to deter piracy.

I bought Photoshop 7 complete with license number a few years ago at Panthip Plaza for 100 baht. Full functionality and updateable from the Adobe web-site. Beats the pants off any other photo-editing software (I use it constantly for work stuff).

I brought autocad 2009 full version for 150bht at tukcom last year...wasnt a perfect application, scroll icon was missing from bottom menu bar...but for the price, does the job

There is a crack for Adobe CS4 suite. Just download the trial from adobe and replace one .dll file on every occurance in the suite. Then its a keygen to use.

 

I could zip them and upload somewhere if anybody would like.

What type of internet connection do you have? I could possibly upload the version I got. It is much like the Lite version, except it creates a directory folder and you can still modify the gradient, brushes, etc items. The crack is compiled into the Exe and edits the hosts file in system32, which blocks all attempts for the software to register.

 

It is 64.8mb so let me know. It's CS 4, so if you are looking for another version I can't help with that. The version has everything inc, even animation for .gifs. That's basically all I use it for though.

 

 

You can also try gimp, I think it has similar things. Not sure about animation though. It's gimp.org .

Why dont you just download it from a torrent site as you dont seem to care about paying for a licensed copy?

Adobe CS6 is certainly available on the 4th floor of Tukcom.. also a legally licensed version is available for about 9 USD per month from Adobe Creative Cloud.

Indeed it is! Recently acquired CS6 for Mac for 300 baht....and they even installed it too.

I did have a copy of Photoshop some years ago but found it just too bloated and complex and overkill for what I wanted to do with images. Then I discovered Picasa 3, I have the portable version and love it. I shoot jpg only and Picasa 3 has all the features I need.

 

Having said that I'd like to give Photoshop another shot, just to see if anything's changed.
