UK tourist Visa question?

Recently obtained a 6 month tourist Visa for my Thai girl-friend. I was under the impression that she can come & go as many times as she chooses until the Visa expires in mid January, but she's convinced it's one trip only. Probably been answered on here before, but a very quick search hasn't revealed much. Anyone know for sure? Ta.

Wow, you have done very well to get a 6 month visitors visa to the uk....

 

I think it will be a one shot deal as your girlfriend suggests but a quick call to the uk immigration office should confirm.

Thanks. Prior to applying I really didn't give the application much chance. Everything on my side was in order (my ability to support her, proof of a 2 year relationship, somewhere for her to stay, etc) but my girl-friend's documents were 'weak' to say the least. So I guess those who make the call aren't as strict as I'd been lead to believe.

How long can my visitor stay?

Your visitor can stay in the UK for up to six months each visit. A visit visa gives the person permission to enter the UK and allows them to visit the UK as often as they like while their visa is still valid.
