Fishing lakes near Pattaya?

Having fished lakes near bangkok, kratrchaburi and north issan looking for lakes close to pattaya with large fish. I have heard there is one near beach with small fish anyone know lake with large stocked fish. If there is a lake approximate cost and whether they have guides website etc.

Any help appreciated.

I guess the largest fish are around 50-60lb.

Huge 20 kilo catfish can be had at Jomtien Fishing lake By the Bungy jumping tower. I think it is at the end of Soi 14 Jomtien. It is a good day out for about 500 baht. These fish can take 20 - 30 minutes to land.

 

There are also some smaller fishing lakes on Third Rd between South Pattaya Rd and Central Rd near the traffic lights halfway along. You will need a motor bike to find them and you will need to ask a local for final directions.

 

All venues offer a good cheap day out and Thai food and drink is available.
