Where Is A Good Location In Koh Samui For My Parents To Stay?

Hey guys,

 

I am planning a holiday with my parents to Koh Samui for their silver wedding.

 

I will most probably stay in Chaweng as thats where I am comfortable as I have a few friends there.

 

Where could my parents stay, they are both around 50 years of age and don't really want to be around the drinking/partying.

 

 

Are there any fancy hotels in Lamai? Ive heard its quite chilled there?

 

Anywhere you can reccomend, let us know.

It’s not in Lamai, but the location is perfect for people who prefer relaxed holidays, combined with good access to shopping, restaurants, etc.

No I have worked for them before.

not the cheapest hotel or the best quality but i have stayed in the baan sumai resort twice now. breakfast on the beach walk out the front of the hotel and straight into the high street. good irish bar 30 metres away.

 

put my dad in there two three years ago. when he got there thought he was in the wrong hotel but by the end of the holiday loved it so much he now wants to go back again.

 

rooms are ok but the location is superb. hope this helps.
