Utorrent help please

Hi,

When I open up Utorrent to download shows I am getting a message that says "You should change your listen port"

 

I can still download the show but I think others can then not upload from me. Uk Nova where I download from then puts me on a 16 hour delay as my downloads far exceed my uploads.

 

Can anyone please help with info. on how to change the listen port?

Dunno about your port problem, but i DO know UK Nove is a pain in the arse

If you dont visit on a regular basis ( i think its something like a month) your account and ratio goes out of the window

I MUCH prefer thebox dot biz now anyway. PM if you need the proper URL

Basically if you open Utorrent

 

then go to options TAB

 

then preferences

 

then go to the connection tab within that and you can change the port there!

 

If you pick a port above 60000 that is a torrent or UDP port. if you still get the problems then try port 80

 

 

If you dont get any problems while using port 80 that means you are being throttled by your ISP

CLICK THE ENCRYPTION OPTION ON UTORRENT

DOWNLOAD PEERGUARDIAN2 it will help keep your downloading activity private
