Some help wanted , anyone know how much you are 4 a spit roasted

pig , and for lad to cut it up and serve it.....as were holding a golf day

I bought half a pig up north. That cost 1000bht.

It's a bit Academic, you could ask but I'm told it's a Secret

4,500 /5,500/6,500 baht depending on its size. There are many folks doing it but the most consistent with the best crackling is a German guy called Wolfgang who uses a glass enclosed BBQ for all his Pigs that turns them out just so much more crispy and moist.

 

His number is at the club, but I can post it tomorrow should you need it.

I asked my girl the same question last week and she said a small one including somchai costs about 3000.

^ Yes i've been told it's anywhere between 3000-5000 depending on the size.

 

Maybe Wolfgang charges extra cos his pigs are more crispy and moist due to his method of cooking.

not bad, even at $7USD per person, 16 persons eating, thats $112USD or about what youve been quoted for a small pig...I would think thats enough for a small party...ive seen several of the bar owners on here quote prices in other threads as well...that way you get pig, all the trimmings and GIRLS too!

 

we did one in the US last summer, it was a decent size and we fed about 30 people on it and still had tons of leftovers.

Cheers to all , its jist to give me a idea what to pay ,

we are having a days golf , then back for prizegiving , and a carry

on......its all friends thats going to be in town around the same time....
