UK Tourist Visa for Lao Lady

I'm looking at getting a Tourist Visa for my Lao Girlfriend. I already have a good visa agent on the case and I'm fully aware of the documents required from me. The problem I envisage is that my girlfriend is working in Thailand illegally, she does a border run to Cambodia every month, so is not in the country illegally.

 

My thoughts are that when I make the application they are going look at why is this girl permanently on holiday in Thailand, what is she living of etc etc. Is there anyone out there who has gone through this and encountered this as a problem or found a solution?

 

Any advice from anyone who has had a similar situation would be apprectiated.

They will obviously want to know what she is doing in Thailand, the main concern of the Eco officer will be if he thinks she is working illegally in Thailand he may believe she will do so in the UK.

 

However she is entering legally and she can apply for a work permit in Thailand.
