this recent budget change has seen a hike in the cost of cigarettes.

 

Marlboro Lights have gone from 63bt to 75bt. Whilst that is nothing to us it will surely have an effect on the Thais as it is a near 20% increase in the price

 

They did put the price up last year from 60-63 bt but it seems this year they really want to cut down on the smokers

 

now...where did I put my fags??

Next thing you know, they'll raise the price of yaba also. Now that, will really piss off a lot of Thais.
