Questions about monthly rates for hotels

Recommended Posts

Hello,

my next trip will be about 3 weeks long and I am looking for hotels right now.

For the same hotel (KTK) I have two options a smaller, regular hotel room quoted per night and a larger room (looks to be kind of a serviced apartment) which is sold at a monthly rate.

Pricewise they are pretty much the same. So obviously I would much rather prefer the bigger room.

So is there anything holding me back from just renting the monthly rate and just checking out early after 3 weeks?

Theoreticaly the hotel shouldn't care, as they have their money already, but maybe there are laws or something which speak against that?

Any input would be much appreciated

I agree with @LASportsNut just take the bigger serviced room and after 3 weeks tell them you need to check out (family emergency or something). I think they’ll be fine with it.
The difference may be something like the serviced room only has cleaning, towel / sheet change a few times a week where the hotel room has daily maid service.

No, unless you're expecting/wanting a refund for the days you didn't stay there
