Simple solution, have designated parking lots guarded and AWAY from Walking Street....FFS it is called Walking Street but the traffic and parking allowed there is stupid....people have legs and can walk to second road or Pattaya Tai and get a songthaew to their bikes or home

Every weeks we get those gang of youth stories.

Does not seem to me that this was common a few years ago.

Wonder how long before we get a tourist or an expat severely beaten or shot.

I dont know  I recall Silver Star shooting, shots fired in Tree Town numerous Beach Fights with all manner of weapons being used and reports of Car chases Guns being pulled and Fired never mind the Bikers whom Guns were used out and about and certainly carried and pulled in high footfall areas.

Of course we didn't have Media and certainly not Pattaya News reporting on everything.

Mainstream Media has almost flourished and fed Guns giving I'm sure folks ideas much same as Knife crime. 

You would be hard pushed to find a Thai Lad not carrying a knife on him or about his Bike someplace.

At end of day Thailand still safer than most other places.

I recall few years back over few weeks 2 or 3 stabbings in IBar I believe not by a Thai but Turk ( I think )

It is not the Thais I fear but other stupid crazy Tourists now attracted to Pats
