Arriving next Sunday with elderly in-laws and am looking for a 2 bedroom suite or nice pool villa in the pratumnak area if possible, can anybody make any suggestions?

mods, please move this wherever if I have posted in the wrong section!

thanks in advance!

I will move it to the Accommodation section.

There are a few options on Airbnb, but not sure how long you’re staying or what the budget is.

eg 2-bed condo in VT3 right next to the beach at £67 a night, a couple of pool villas just off Pratumnak Soi 6 at £112-162 a night and a very large villa just off Soi 5 for £203 a night.

It might not be up to your expected standard, but I know the Tara Court hotel has 2-bed apartments. The apartments are large and have had new furniture, beds etc but fixtures and fittings will be dated. O’Garas Pub is on site and guests get 10% off food there. The hotel is not exactly overstaffed (!) but friendly. Small pool on the roof. It is on Booking.com but cheaper to book direct. If interested PM me and I’ll send you the email of the English manager.

Thanks mate,

we have a healthy budget so not trying to be tight about it, probably 5,000 baht per night, preferably 4 star or better.

Sirin Exclusive hotel has a very good reputation and has suites, rather than just rooms. It looks as if the 2-bed suites are fully booked for your dates so would be two 1-bed suites. You should get them for under 2500 baht a night per suite if you look on  Agoda or Booking.

A friend’s wife has become a fan of The Sanctuary hotel on the seafront near the Sands Cafe. It is still listed as the Centara Grand on some sites. Again, it looks as if no 2-bed are available but they do have 1-bed suites. It might be a bit more expensive though.

Has anyone stayed at the newish Urban Condo in Pattaya? It is too new to have any reviews or a rating on Booking.com. It seems to tick my boxes but would love to hear from any recent experiences.
