Hotels or apartments for a month stay?

Hey guys I was wondering if someone would point me in the right direction for finding a hotel for a months stay.

I'll be there at the end of june and all of july. I'm looking for a clean room something like the rooms on LK Metro. Also I have heard that Jomtien would be cheaper and nicer for the price. Honestly I want to pay between 7000 to 15000 depending on the quality and cleanliness of the room. I think I would prefer a room that has maid service cus I'm not gonna be able to clean and change sheets and so on.

Is the time I'm going high season or low? Is a hotel better or apt? or pattaya or jomtien?

Alot of questions and I tried to seach this forum but man its to much to search.. so I'm reaching out to all the experts for your input.

thanks

Ksamui

There are hundreds, if not thousands of rooms in that price range all over. It would help if you said what you like to do and where you go when in town. You want quiet or to be near the action? What amenities are you looking for? Are you renting a motorbike or taking public transportation? Internet? Swimming pool or beach?

You are going in low season.

You have 2 months to research. Give it a try. Someone else's favorite place may not be yours. Good luck in your quest.

thanks guys for the info... definitly want the number if possible....

well I'm looking to be close enough to the action, I have stayed at metro and archer but I think they told me that for a month would be 20000 baht. I think thats pretty high but who knows, cus everytime I was in pats I stayed for only a week... so I kinda don't know prices for a month stay. I will be renting a bike so transport is taken care of, it wouldn't matter if I stayed far or near to the action. I would also want free internet access, swimming pool would be great.

I also am interested in apartments but I would need room cleaning, AC for sure, and a western style toilet hehe....

if Jomtien is nice, cheap and next to the beach that would be cool also, I really don't care if i'm close or far from the action.

honestly it would be cleanlyness, price, and the amenities...

thanks again for all the replies and can you guys tell me about how much it would be for these places???

thanks

You can find rooms at View Talay 1 or the first Sois after you turn onto the Beach Rd in Jomtiem. How often do you want your room cleaned? If it's only one or two times a week you can get your apartment cleaned for around 200 baht. If you want daily cleaning a hotel would be a better option but that's why you pay more at a hotel. Jomtiem is not too far from the action in Walking St and also has quite a few bars of it's own.
