Hi all friends Pattaya addict just a question maybe a bit silly is too early to start looking for hotel for early next year February 2025??? Thank you much appreciated

Depends on the hotel/third party agency but it might be as it can come up and no availability listed. As some don't have their availability up right away. I had that with a few hotels in BKK

If you do book ahead and find something, it's a good idea.

For example the room I have now at Payaa costs 1500-2000 a night than what I paid, And that is with free cancellation, which is normally a bit more expensive.

Some places will have listed availability on the big booking sites a year out, but many will not.

I typically only book that far out in advance if it's a highly sought after Airbnb that regularly gets snagged, or if there's a risk of some sort of spike in demand (say a special event is taking place that might cause shortages); otherwise you are typically best served by looking to book around 3 months in advance, as that is typically when prices are lowest (obviously not always).

No, its not too early to start looking for & booking hotels, though a lot will not yet be available

I got home 2 days ago from my annual trip & already planning my Jan/Feb 2025 trip, checking hotel prices on Booking.com & Agoda

Never too early to spot a bargain, I normally have all my hotels booked 7-8 months before travelling (normally have 10-15 hotels per trip, depending on how many countries & locations I'm visiting)

I always book with free cancellation, so if I spot something better later, then I can change my booking
