Hotel with nice pool / garden

Hey folks,

we, friends and I, are going to stay 11 nights in Pattaya in early November. We have been there in 2023 and stayed in Avalon Beach Resort (Jomtien). The Avalon is dated but overall it was nice with a good pool and garden area. However this time we would like to stay somewhere closer to Pattaya entertainment areas.

Our criteria are:

• up to 100 USD per night
• Clean rooms, friendly staff (the absolute basic for a hotel, really)
• Girl friendly / not being the odd duck by entertaining guests
• Nice pool / garden (so actually a Resort rather than a hotel I guess)
• close-ish to Pattaya / maybe access to the baht bus (optional)
• Vegeterian food (optional)
• Fitness area (optional)

I searched the forum extensively (I hope) and looked up hotels on Agoda and Booking. For ... reasons ... we now have the following candidates

• Dusit Thani
• Woodlands hotel & Resort

The latest reviews of the Dusit Thani here where not soo good. What would be a better alternative? And Woodlands is rather mixed. Some say its good other say it really is NOT girl friendly.

What are your thoughts? Alternatives?

Pretty sure there will be a review or 2 that'll fit your bracket in the hotel threads. An ide could be to narrow down search to e.g. 1 year
