Hey hey! Couldn't find any recently rumblings about food carts so wanted to kick off a thread. Any recommendations/locations for the best food carts? I'm generally looking for non-western food but will eat anything that's good.

Nobody on this board eats Thai food 😅. Would also like some tips on nice street food. Usually your TG of the night will know some good ones to try.

The amount of people traveling to Thailand just to eat the same shit they always do.... this board is killing me! I know info is out and but I'll have to bring it back to the board perhaps.

Can be hard to give a recommendation on food carts as they tend to move around a lot so may not be in the same location if you go hunting for them.

I am fan of those Issan meatballs with the chilies.. usually from the cart doing the rounds of treetown.

Also the meat skewers and sticky rice from the entrance of LK Metro (the side opposite Areca)

Finally not exactly Thai, but also a fan of the Kebab stall at corner of Diana / Buakhao

Some of us live in Thailand, and eat Thai food most of the time.  When I go to Pattaya I only eat the foods I not readily available where I live.

Hmmm. there is a great Pad thai shack that moves around central pattaya. I dont have a picture but its got disinctive yellow signs which are hand drawn. really decent for a mobile PT.

Aside from that, opposite caddyshack in Jomtien, daytimes, lady does fantastic somtam lao, with fresh blue crab, and has fried chicken and fried fish too. Great lunch. next to her is another cart where the lady has the best, freshest and most abundant selection  of fruit ive seen in Pattaya. try the roasted baby coconut on ice!
