Retirement visa help

Hi all, my last trip was 6 months so I got the retirement extension with one re-entry. I'm returning a week before it expires so my question is will I still get the tourist stamp for 30 days ?

You’ll be stamped in for the validity of the Extension. So if it has a week left, you’ll be stamped in for a week - if they put a date stamp at all. They’ll probably just write the entry date and tell you that you have a week.

If you get a new Extension there’s no issue you can stay another year if you want.

Ive booked 4th Feb for a month but retirement visa runs out on the 22nd Feb. So I can only stop for the full month by extending my retirement visa ?

  • 2 weeks later...

This is exactly the position I find myself in.

My extension of stay based on retirement runs out on November 20th but I leave for 6 months between May 2nd and November 2nd so when I come back in I’ll be allowed the 18 days and then will have to do the extension.

However I only then  want a couple of months , which makes delaying my return to after 20th November a lot easier.
