Now I'm having truble finding scooter for rent for 3weeks. I'd like something with box in the back and big seat (have kid and wife...)

few tips for not experienced:

Find shop away from downtown, any direction, as far away as cheaper price.

one month rental in center city is least 4000 up for a normal scooter, 2 Km from center is 2000 ( personal experience).

Ask first question how much for 1 day, and 2th question ask for time you want..
get get better price than ask directly price for xx days.

take picture and video around bike and closeup pic. when owner present..

be aware included insurance is weak in Thailand special when you are falang..

if minor accident and you are guilty, then try buy you free directly from the guy  before officials comes.
