Miami to Bangkok

Flying from Miami, anyone tried Emirates over Dubai or Turkish over Istanbul.. Only $200 difference.. Monkey class, what do you prefer?

I would choose emirates mainly because of the a380

Unlucky schedule then because I think its 5 daily 380 and one 777 dxb to bkk

Fwiw, half of my 8 trips from MIA-BKK have been via Qatar. They're always a top 5 airline and their rates have been cheaper, sometimes by quite a bit.

Not so much now as prices have jumped since Covid and most airlines are right around the same price. Add in seats, extra bags (always bring golf clubs), etc and there's little to choose from.

So my deciding factor amongst Turkish, Emirates, and Qatar, is the schedule.

Qatar has a 24 hour, 1 stop TO BKK and a 26 hour, 1 stop back to MIA. Stopover in the 2.5 hour range in Doha. I HATE spending more than 2-3 hours in an airport.

I've seen Emirates come very close time-wise. Not sure about Turkish who, btw, has come way up in class.

Aircraft ? Meh. Haven't noticed much difference in 8 trips.
