Coming back after 5 years

I have not been in Thailand since 2018. I will come next month for less than 30 days. I saw some posts about using the e-visa for entry and not having to present the passports anymore? Will someone let me know if the visa is still free for less than 30 days and if the best way to do it is through the e-visa or like pre Covid and just walk up and get the passport stamped? Thanks for the help.

You do not mention what country you are from but most likely up to 30 days with a Visa Exemption.

However if you want to stay longer you should apply for a travel visa using the e-Visa.

There is no need to complete the arrival and departure cards anymore either.

Sorry yea I’m coming from the USA. Thanks for the information. Can’t stay as long as I would like gotta get back to help care for my parent but it’s going to be nice to get a short break.
