Sushi restaurant in Pattaya, any recommendations?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys, do you have any recommendation for a good sushi restaurant in Pattaya?

Here is my past experiences, but I would like to know if there are better ones...

YAMATO on Soi Pattaya 13/1 -- This is one of my favorites, it is small and friendly. The food is good but not too many choices. It is like "home made" and not too much commercial. The staff (the owner who is also the cook) is friendly.

FUJI in Central Festival -- It is ok but nothing to remember. A little pricey. Sometimes too crowded.

Small sushi restaurant (sorry, I do not remember the name) in Treetown -- It was very small, but the food was delicious. It closed during the COVID time and never opened again. I visited last year and it was still closed.

I think Pattaya is not the best place to eat sushi (probably Bangkok has more options) but I would like to know if there is a good restaurant that can offer fresh sushi at a decent price.

Thanks for your help.

M.

I'm always careful when it comes to sushi as some places leave it out for a long time unrefrigerated which can lead to stomach bugs etc.

Okasa has to be my favourite as they have a wide range of fresh Sushi and it tastes fantastic.

For a cheaper option Terminal 21 do sushi for very cheap in their food court and have a high turnover everyday which ensures the food is fresh.

If you ever go to Sriracha there are a bunch of high quality sushi restaurants due to a concentration of Japanese people working in the area for which they need to cater for, Kamome Izakaya Sriracha being just one of those restaurants.
