I'm about to sign a contract for a condo in Bangkok.

I just wanted to check if it normal that the agent insists on the reservation fee being transferred to the owner before drafting of the actual rental contract? I'm still overseas but I guess if I was in town I could go to their office to pay and they would immediately give me an invoice.

Yes you got to be a bit weary i heard many stories of staff keeping rent and leaving employment .
