The Pattaya Mayor has said more than 4,000 members of the American Navy who were scheduled to dock in Pattaya this week, have cancelled because of the state of emergency. Also Songkran celebrations canceled.

Well they did a good job!! They even had people come down along Soi 8 accompanied with tourist police telling the 'salors' that it was time to get back to the boat... :o

Not true according to a few sailors I spoke to earlier. All that were scheduled are coming, and the entire crew is on liberty for the duration. WS was crawling with them last night.
