Hi just a question for those of you who use these cpap machines . has anyone used them in flight i fly with EVA air normally and use a battery power pack because they wont allow you to use the aircraft power sockets . i see most usa airlines allow it . for those of you who probably d,ont know about it this is a machine that helps you to sleep it has a mask and tubing which forces air to the user

Mate of mine has travelled extensively with his CPAP for about 15 years. He says he’s never had a problem using the onboard power sockets, as long as you don’t try and use the humidifier. Helps if you carry a letter from your Dr confirming you need it for safe sleep, he reckons.
