Beef in Thai Food, Jomtien Where?

Fred Basset

Recommended Posts

I’m looking for info on any noodle stalls, streetfood, cheaper Thai restaurants around Jomtien where I can get beef?

Beef noodles, fried beef, beef green curry, beef pad kapow, etc

I know the Jomtien area fairly well, I’ll be there all summer, but somehow I never can find any Thai food beef dishes.

Most grateful for any info please?

Larb Sar Saket is located on Soi Thep rasit 17. Just walk uphill along Rompho. Here you can buy real food from Isan, including beef. Simple and cheap restaurant which unfortunately does not sell beer. You should be out early. The place closes when you run out of food.

Brilliant, thank you very much. That must be up close to the Moo Kata restaurant at the top of Rompho?

I am flying out in a few days and I’ll check this place out next weekend :)

One time, while exploring the area, I stumbled upon this hidden gem of a noodle stall tucked away in a side street. They served the most amazing beef noodle soup, and I later found out they used beef bone broth to give it that rich flavor. It was a game-changer! Maybe you'll have luck finding similar spots where you can enjoy your favorite beef dishes.
