Doctors in Pattaya

Are there in Pattaya and Thailand actually only hospitals for medical care or are there also family doctors who know their patients and if necessary also make a house call? Or such care centers, where several doctors work together?

Closest you would get is 'Clinics' which are scattered over every City in Thailand.

Some have the same doctor(s) all the time, but others are opened by Hospital doctors as a side business.

Hospitals will sometimes make house calls but obviously it is expensive.

Do the clinics / Hospitals actually keep files on their patients, or do you start from zero every time you visit? You're probably assigned to a new doctor each time.

Hospitals keep records for many years. Doesn't matter what department you go to, or what ailment you have.

You are asking fairly naive questions---Thailands hospitals are easy to access, excellent service and doctors in most private hospitals and good doctors in public hospitals, but can be longer waiting times.

Health care is a lot better than many Western countries.

in Pattaya have Dr Olivier,a GP, Swiss doctor, he advertises can do home visits but unsure how it works.

He has been around for at least 2 decades, great GP, great bed side manner and most of all if he does not know, he  does not experiment but tell you he does not know

yes , the thais call it a hospital. Not sure what you call it in Germany
