Is there a market for 2nd hand Rolex watches in town? I'm looking to move on my GMT Master II when I'm next there. If there's a shop that might be interested that would be useful to know.

Maybe but finding a business that buys pre-owned watches is difficult and I'm not keen on selling online.

It's a 1988 black and red or 'root beer' model. I think I paid about USD2000 back then.
