i have been to thailad 7 times and have never seen a police women,they all seem to be men. Are women allowed to become police officers in thailand,i think a thai women would look so sexy in a police uniform,has anyone on the forum seen a thai police women?

I have never seen any in Pattaya but I know that there are female cops in Thailand. Banglamung (ie the darkside) has a couple of them.

When I was there in januari, I read an article in the Bangkok Post that the Bangkok Police were recruiting females for the first time in their history. two years of training...

Trust me, it's paradise. This is where the hungry come to feed.

For mine is a generation that circles the globe and searches for something we haven't tried before.

So never refuse an invitation, never resist the unfamiliar, never fail to be polite and never outstay the welcome.

Just keep your mind open and suck in the experience. And if it hurts, you know what? It's probably worth it.

There are LOTS in the police "force" but you rarely see them on the streets. Take a trip to immigration offices etc and see all the Senior Police Sergeant majors there.

 

That said there is one fit one who patrols the junction of 3rd Road/Pattaya Klan. She is always with another officer so is probably one of these new cadets.

My fiance's cousin in Sakon Nakhon is a police officer. Good looking woman, but with that "no nonsense, don't piss me off" look about her.... :)

On my last trip we met a pretty important police guy in Silver star a gogo, the guy fell in love with my friend (also a male :) ) and afterwards he waved away our bill! I guess the owner can substract that from the next 'police fee'. :)

Thats the reason mito, same attitude as yours , They are keept down by men.Sexisam. They are treat as dogs no rights .They dont even have a say in there children, A Thai man can take the children off them,And its legal ,Thailand is riddled with Racism ,Sexisam and Double standards,
