Ivory palace/ SC villa/ buakhao corner

My usual place is fully booked so I've just been doing some preliminary research.

I'm looking for a place close to Buakhao but just set back as to not be too noisy so have discounted pothole & LK.

There's  YT vids on both Ivory Palace & Buakhao Corner & both look decent but other than that info is limited.

SC Villa is a guesthouse directly opposite p plus, Ivory Palace is a newish budget hotel on soi 19 & Buakhao Corner is a bar with rooms above in a quieter part of buakhao.

I've a budget of around 15K ish per month (2 month stay) so I'm not expecting much just somewhere clean & comfortable.

So just wondering if anyone had stayed in any of these places?

I stayed in SC villa years ago.  I found out by accident that your key will open other rooms. It's a bit too basic . If you're after basic, cheap then Sutus 2 beats SC all day.

You could look at Korando's, pretty decent rooms en-suite, although its above a party bar.

Thanks for the suggestion but I'm guessing it would be a little loud for me, I stayed on Pothole before & the incessant thudding of the music drove me crazy.

Since you plan to stay for a couple of months why not book a condo like VT-6 or Centric Sea, maybe get a smaller room within your budget. Am assuming, there's plenty available before the Chinese hordes come back.

I assumed VT6 & centric sea would be well over my budget, thanks I'll have a look into them.

On FB groups, I have seen Centric Sea studio's being advertised at around 10-12k. For a couple of month you possibly could get them at 15k+utilities.
