Trouble on Trapprasit for business owners

Like so much of Thailand, Pattaya wasn't built up with any thought given to cars and general transportation.    The proliferation of traffic wasn't even a concern as little as 20 years ago.

There seems to be so few  traffic mitigation possibilities  but the city fathers have come up with one for Thepprasit.

Starting immediately, parking will be prohibited on both sides of Thepprasit  from 1800 hours until 0700 hours.

All of his is compounded by the construction taking place now and for the unforeseeable  future.

Will this bring about even worst conditions for the business owners on the street than the Covid  pandemic or will it fade away in a matter of months?

***    No word yet on whether caught parking offenders will be given a ticket, boot or have their vehicle/Motobike towed!!

Don't mean to be a Cassandra but at least the powers that be are attempting some kind of approach to dealing with a pretty  shitty traffic problem.

Now the issue is where the heck are all the cars supposed to park  if not on Thepprasit?
