Taxi from UTP Utapao to Pattaya? Who to use?

Any recommendations on a Taxi service (post Line or WhatsApp contact) or best way to get from UTP to Pattaya?

Bolt Taxi says it's 500 baht from UTP to central Pattaya.

In March TG and I did the trip the other way, Pattaya to UTP. Cost was 800 bahts, took only 35 minutes.

UTP airport was very quiet - cafe was closed. Boring wait for our BangkokAir flight to Phuket.

Ps check the web site; it shows arrivals and departures.

On Thursday 17 March TG and I flew UTP to HKT (Phuket) on BangkokAir.

Came back HKT to BKK (Suvarnabhumi) on ThaiAir.

every taxi service that offers BKK <--> Pattaya will also gladly pick you up in UTP. 

So pick whatever you're happy with (nam, cherry, mr t, boss etc). or just take bolt. or just take a taxi outside and pay (probably) slightly more.

Bolt is one of the cheapest options. The Trip is usually much cheaper from Pattaya to UTP about 450 THB than the other direction. The problem in UTP is that when you arrive at the airport you need to wait until you get you luggage. But at this time many poeple use the bolt App and the price for the trip is rising immediately from 450 to 700 or 800 Bath due to the demand. So the best way might  be to book when you leave the airplane a taxi which needs some time to arrive.

Are there any taxi desks at Utapao to hire a taxi upon arrival?  If so, how much are they charging for one way to central Pattaya?

Its supply and demand. On holidyas bolt proces skyrocet. My normal ride to Makro that cost 60bath was 380 on new years day🤣
