Any issues with Sunbeam Hotel?

I've booked a flight for June and excited about my upcoming trip.

A friend had stayed at Sunbeam and it's always been on my radar. Usually a mid priced hotel and I always seemed to get better deals with other hotels.

I like the location as it's central to everywhere.

At the moment it's dirt cheap at $354AUS for 11 nights. Certainly much cheaper than it's ever been. So I'm a little concerned that there is an issue such as construction in the area. Or it could be they're drumming up business with Soi 8 being so quiet/ruined by COVID.

Does anyone know? Thanks in advance.

I was sat drinking in the bar opposite the sunbeam 3 days ago certainly no noise issues that was mid afternoon time

No issues when I went past the other week other than it was dead quiet. It’s probably a really good place to stay st the moment
