“The pickup truck driver, Mr. Wern Maha, 35, who had sustained minor injuries, told TPN reporters, “It was raining heavily. I tried to overtake another vehicle but lost control on the wet road before crashing into the power pole and the grocery. However, the issue was the road being too wet not my driving.”

Funniest thing I’ve read today, no attempt to accept the fact he doesn’t have the necessary skill to drive in the wet, nor brains to understand to slow down and drive to the conditions. Simply I drive like this all the time and if it rains it’s not my fault, it shouldn’t be wet.

Oh give him a break.   Heavy rain is uncommon in Thailand.
