I am surprised people are complaining about the cycle/run route around Marprachan lake. I arrived in Pattaya six months ago and since then have been a regular on this route, must say I have been very impressed in how they have catered for cyclists such as myself or runners of which I have seen many. Surely most cyclist/runners look ahead on route so won't end up in the lake, the opposite side of the lake from where the path erosion is reported has had major improvements taking place. Getting from soi Boukhao to the lake is another matter but that is to be expected.

I have also cycled from Pattaya to Buddah Mountain - approx 40 mile round trip and have been impressed with the miles of dedicated cycling lanes on route, not something I was expecting and my own country could learn or thing or two.

Some people will complain about anything.
