Quality hotel recommendation?

Recommended Posts

I'm normally happy with a basic place, but looking to relax in a nicer place to have a quiet few days in Pattaya after arrival on the weekend.  Any recommendations on a more luxurious hotel in the area to relax with better facilities.  Is Hilton the best choice?   I don't mind if it's not in central Pattaya,  could be Jomtien, Nakluea, wherever reasonably local, with good facilities for the money, budget 4-7000.  If I can get a nice place without overpaying that's great too.  Thanks for any advice!

any other factors that are important for you? large pool? room size? balcony? etc

there are a lot of threads here that cover the question:

two examples.

personally, i think the normal Hilton rooms are overpriced for what you get and i wouldn't book there. on the other hand, the executive premium oceanfront rooms (the 65sqm ones) are really great, but normally more in the 8k-9k range.

edit to add: if you're happy to be outside of pattaya center, look into the options in pratamnak as well, InterContinental Pattaya Resort for example.

Thanks I did search but will look again at those links, and that resort yes cheers.

After reasonable room size, nice service, balcony, gym with sauna/spa, nice pool on site, fine dining restaurant on site is a big plus

Think it's mentioned in the thread linked above but besides Hilton, Siam@Siam is pretty nice.
