New hotel under 2000 baht

Hi there,

 

I’m headin to pattaya in may and im looking for a decent hotel for something around 1500baht.

Here are some of the ones ive stayed in recently and what I thought of them –

 

Pattaya Bay Resort, - Good, but bit old and dingy & small pool

Areca Lodge - Good, but bit old and dingy

BJ Lodge, - Ok, Cheap, long way from action, small pool

Holiday Mansion – Ok, cheap, bit dingy, long way from action,

InTown – dingy

 

What im looking for is a nice new hotel like you get back home. Can anyone recommend a newer, more modern hotel than these, but still not majorly expensive.

This may be nit picking but when did you stay at PBR, as it is less than 2 years old and far from Dingy, but i will agree it has a small pool.

 

You could try the Baron Beach hotel on Soi 9 which was opened middle of 08, never been myself though, as i like PBR at the moment, good staff friendly OK Breakfast and good sized rooms

Shit ya posted twice. Thanks 4 advice nyway. Just, before i booked into hotel in soi 7, think it was called sunshine, got put in big presidential suite as standard rooms were full, but was moved on 2 standard and was stuck in a noisy kip for a week. PBR is only 2yold? isnt agin 2 well
