Will I have a problem?

I fly out with Air France on 6th December and WAS due to return with KLM on 5th January.

Got Email from KLM on 6th November saying return flight cancelled and will do their utmost to rebook me and inform me shortly.

I have not gone into 'Manage my booking' as my intention is to extend my stay anyway.

My concern is will this give me a problem when i check in, will it be flagged that my return ticket has been cancelled?

Any you guys been in this situation i would appreciate your feedback

99% no.

In case somebody does want to see another flight, book an onwarticket for 12$ on the spot youre fine. https://onwardticket.com/

Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

You will not have a problem at the immigration officer's desk, he/she will be checking your passport validity, visa type or exempt, name and number against the blacklist, viewing all photos taken on previous entry, getting the correct stamp, no glasses/hat photo, immigration form complete signed, busy busy.

Only possible problem is at Air France check in desk.  My experience with other airlines is that it may flag at that desk and preparing your answer/paperwork gets passed the desk and the manager every time.

I just have a backup -my laptop and a saved search on the cheapest legal (more difficult with covid) saved so I could book a throw away immediately- but I have yet to be called.

Many times there is no interaction, just print out of boarding pass and luggage tabs and leave bag on a belt.

Thanks for advice.

It shows on Air France app my return is cancelled so I expect that to show on their monitor at check in. So if they have not offered me an alternative date before check in I will do as Stacksreg123 suggests and buy a $12 throwaway ticket.
