The original article was published a few weeks ago, in Thai, by Thais and in mainly Thai media. Same organizations though.

That article referred to “Thai Sex workers” in general and related to workers and the industry nationwide. Less than 5% of the industry is Pattaya centric. 10% maybe in Bangkok with the other 85% spread across every single town and City in Thailand. It is also notable 95% of the sex industry is Thai with Thai

It made NO specific reference to Pattaya. Nor did it mention foreigners per se.

As is so often the case we now have a foreign news outlet making it more juicy for their readers.

Nice to see an article that presents the facts,  rather than the usual bullshit about "trafficking",  "exploitation",  etc.
