They should be helping these people all the time, not just to get them off the street so tourists don’t have to see them.

Agreed. They are trying to claim they are doing this out of being compassionate and not to clear them before tourists potentially claim, but in reality they just want them gone.

What are they going to do with the abandoned shops along 2nd and beach roads?  going to have to board those up also.

Cardboard cutouts are being made depicting tourists in restaurants enjoying their meals...without alcohol of course....completely blanking out any unseemly sights....they’re crafty here tha knows.
