You may want to check your facts. It was NOT a business in Soi 7 Jomtien, rather a business in Soi Whitehouse, which is the next soi south of 7.

That makes more sense ..I walk down Soi 7 Jomtien  most evenings ,and I haven't  seen any evidence of illicit trading.
