Lost 5.1 Surround After Win 10 Update

Before the latest Win 10 update, under Speaker Setup I could select 5.1 Surround. Now the only option available is Stereo. Anyone else encountered the same and found a solution?

Thanks. Found that article on an earlier search, but methods 1 & 2 weren't the issue, and for method 3, uninstalling and reinstalling drivers I was going to leave as a last resort.

Not sure what changed, but a reboot and a new day and I now see the 5.1 Surround option again. Then again with all the playback devices on my system, it's quite possible I had inadvertently tried to configure the wrong device. Important thing is I have my 5.1 sound back.
