Tourist Police round-up 62 street vendors, street kids and others in clean-up operation.

 

Following a barrage of complaints at the Walking Street Tourist Police Mobile Unit, Police Lieutenant Colonel Suwan, the Chief of Pattaya’s Tourist Police Division organized a clean-up operation on the street in the early hours of Wednesday Morning. Officers and volunteers were targeting flower sellers, photographers, transsexuals and anyone else acting in a suspicious manner including street vendors offering pictures with exotic animals. The operation was a success and a total of 62 people including some children and 4 exotic animals were rounded up. The arrestees were taken to Pattaya Police Station for further processing and it is expected that the Tourist Police will continue the clean-up operation over the coming weeks.

As long as they don't clean up the freelancers and bargirls.

Interesting that they were targeting (also) the LBs but not the freelancers??? LBs on WS are not a problem, only if you're a closet gay .

Normally they just charge them a fee and let them go.

to me this sounds like the begining of the end... not good at all...

 

next thing you will hear is clean up gogo no nude shows. and such.. hope i am wrong!!!
