What is going on with V&M terrace?

That used to be my home away from home when visiting Pattaya.  Now I am told it's a construction site.  Anyone know what is happening? I emailed them and messaged them on facebook but never got a reply.

Just rebuilding the shops that were in the front I am told by my barber that had a shop there

Swimming pool also dug up and gone...are they replacing it I,m not sure,updates as when I pass by....looks like lots of shop fronts have gone in where the car parking was....just what is needed now,more shops LOL.

Several years ago when they last renovated they kicked out all their long staying guests and jacked up the prices significantly....suffered for it later,whether the same happens this time is anyones guess?
