With the current restrictions, it's going to be a long month.

I always wondered what the view looked like if not facing the pool.  Thanks for sharing.

Washing machine on the balcony? Where does the plumbing start and end ...i.e drainage?

That's his view from that side (building A) I'm the other side looking towards the Mercure.  I prefer it to the pool view.  It's very grey today.

Thanks for sharing. I appreciate it.

i am considering Grand Avenue (almost perfect except no sea vlew).

Centric Sea (small and off the beaten path but nice sea views)

Northshore (larger and older and more expensive compare to others).

Thanks, I haven't stayed in the other 2 you mention but from what I hear my pick of them would be Northshore, older and better built with decent sound proofing.

A few guys moved out of Centric Sea about a year ago into Grand Avenue when they started limiting the time they could spend in the pool and other issues.  Agents seem to do more deals here than anywhere else.  Good luck.

This is what I see, building E, city view, that's centara hotel on the left. And the base is also on the left, way in the background.

In my unit, the plumbing starts and ends right where the washing machine is.

Kitchen has a 2 burner stovetop, and a built-in microwave.

Is it month to month or can you get cheaper if you maybe sign up for 3 or 6 months?

I would consider that.

easy to find 6 months deals

Both units I have been in have proper dark curtains.  The problem is more that it's very difficult to have the curtains cover the windows/doors tightly, so there is always a sliver a light coming through.

Agreed.  Would have been much smarter to make the room keys also work on the main doors.

Every time there is a major storm (with thunder and lightning) it's almost guaranteed that the power will go out.  Takes anywhere from 2-20 minutes to come back on.  This being Thailand I bet they see it as normal, and nothing will be done about it.
