It needs it. I met a local girl the last time I was there. I was going around the island with her and her sister one day and they went to feed the stray dogs on a bit of land not too far from the Conrad hotel. There must have been 100 dogs easily.

It was sad as there were a number of pups and lots of the dogs clearly needed medical treatment. Sores and open wounds on their bodies.

Hopefully this can stop their numbers constantly increasing.

The last few times I've been to Samui I've noticed a big increase in dogs since I first visited in 2010. This might be because I've been chased by quite a few while cycling around the island.
