Another star of my youth passes on. Always liked Colin Bell an all round footballer. Played over 500 games for City A great player RIP

Big hero of most schoolboys of my era, and i dont mean just City fans.

I can vividly remember having a poster of him on my bedroom wall, and I'm not City. Indeed he really was the "poster boy" of that era and there were many of him. I think mine was in England kit.

Absolutely class player, and a gentlemen to boot apparently.

As a young lad I saw Colin Bell playing for Bury and was disappointed United didn,t sign him,known affectionately as Nijinsky he was an outstanding player and great servant to City....RIP Colin.
