Pattaya Jan 3rd 2021 Photos Lots of them

Met Mr Lee for lunch and took these on my way in Central Pattaya never ever have i seen so little going on these were taken between 1 and 2 Pm. Many have posted that Pattaya is doing ok at the moment  a few limited areas are indeed holding their own but as a whole this place is in trouble. Photos taken with a 4 year old LG V20 Phone I am still happy with the quality.

Thanks for the pictures. Crazy to see how empty and dead the city is. I’ve only been there in high season or close to high season. This looks like three days after a nuke was dropped

I am normally in Pattaya at this time of the year, and even at lunchtime everywhere is normally packed for high season.

I can only imagine what it would be like coming out of state quarantine to these scenes...sad times.

Heartbreaking. Really hope the outbreak can be wrestled under control and businesses are allowed to reopen. Thai people are a resilient bunch, but so many livelihoods are being wrecked.

I remember the absolute exuberance of 2018, when I last visited. Everywhere people, everywhere activity. Pattaya was pulsing fast. The YouTube videos I've been watching painting are more subdued picture, but this is on another level.

Very sad indeed I think it will take a long time for the good  old  days to make  a comeback.
