Benihana's Brunch in Royal Garden Plaza

Benihana's is located on the 3rd floor of Royal Garden Plaza on the Beach Rd. side. Included in the price of ฿1,200 per person is 1/2 bottle of wine, red or white and all the middle and top shelf vodka drinks you want. For you non-drinkers and those with children, they also make as many fresh (and I mean fresh) fruit smoothies and milkshakes as you can handle. It definitely isn't a cheap eats meal, but it makes for a very relaxing way to spend a few hours with some mostly pleasant company. Honestly, it wouldn't be too hard to drink ฿1,200 worth of vodka in three hours not even including the food, so it really isn't a bad deal, just not somewhere you'd eat every Sunday.

We went last Sunday with a group of six (myself, Cerberus, Katandmilo and our respective others) for my going away brunch as I was leaving late that night. We were sat in a private room away from all the riffraff as Cerberus is quite the celebrity at Beni's.

The assortment of food is phenomenal. I have been to Beni's before in the States, but for some reason the food looks fresher and larger in Thailand.

Each table has its own personal chef. We had George by request and he was a load of fun.

If you get a little bored with just eating, you can try your hand at the made-to-order crepe station.

If you don't set the place on fire, then a pat on the back is in order.

It wouldn't be the end of a meal without a little dessert. And I mean little!

OK, so they weren't all so little, but they were delicious.

And a nice watermelon shake.

Even though I would be comfortable coming here as a couple, it definitely makes for a better experience to come with a group of friends. I had a fantastic time with both food and company, and will be visiting Beni's again.

wow......thats what a call a GREAT restaurant review...well done, and thanks!

i dont really go to pats for the food...in fact, i try to lose a few pounds between eating healthier than i typicall do at home and having a lot more exercise (read SEX), so all u can eat buffets (other than the ones where you can sample a lot of local fare so that you can learn new things to love) arent something i do...but i have to admit, that by USA standards, $35 for that buffet and all your adult beverages is pretty good.

Thanks for the information and photo's, looks good.I have walked past it a few times and when in LOS I sometimes think its expensive when you consider other places. But that is the LOS way as in there are always cheaper places.

The question would be would you get value for money and by the looks of the photo's of the food I think I will be giving it a go the next time I am there.I have been to the one in London and it too is expensive but the experience was good.

Food looks fresh and well presented.

I recommend The Sizzler on the first floor near the Second Rd entrance. I always take a girl there if I want to impress her. However, never a first date. For a first date there a spaghetti place adjacent to the Royal Plaza on Beach Rd.

I never tried the brunch at the Benihana. This is sure something I still have to do. But I can confirm that it is one

of the best japanese restaurants in Pattaya. I was there at least 10 times and the food was always absolute delicious

and I still like the show of the chef while he prepares the food with his kitchen knife. It's awesome.

If anyone likes japanese food - it's recommended.

Pattaya: You can checkout any time you like - but you can never leave - Eagles

What an amazing set up they have there! I have been to Benihana's in the Los Angeles and Las Vegas many times, hell I still have a few bhudda and geisha ceramic mugs that they give you with their signature drinks as a souvenir!

This place looks awesome. I'm not a fan of the cheaper farang-style 99 baht all you can eat places, but this place is more like it! I think I need to swing by in December!

Thanks again!
